What is it?
The Blue Sky Network C1000A offers unprecedented flexibility and affordability. Offering truly global communications over the Iridium Satellite network, this FAA certified system offers the option of installing a digital Motorola handset and/or wiring analog phone connections to one or more locations in the aircraft. Analog connections can for example be wired to integrate with cockpit intercom or to a cordless cabin phone.

There is more. The C1000A has been approved by both Verizon Wireless labs for use with the Magnastar system and by Rockwell Collins Airshow for use with both Airshow Genesis and 4000 systems. For current Magnastar users this means that global phone connectivity now is available from the existing Magnastar handsets already installed. For Airshow users, the C1000A and Iridium offers a much cheaper and very reliable way to update your Airshow data.

Finally, the C1000A can also be used for data connections. Using a laptop passengers can dial the Internet and browse, email, connect to Intranets and much more.
